Practical Solutions, Real Connections

Royal Forklift (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., a Chinese manufacturer specializing in forklifts and warehouse equipment, made our mark at Logimat 2024 with a down-to-earth yet professional exhibition. Focusing on practicality and customer engagement, we showcased our Pro Plus and Standard series, covering electric, off-road, diesel forklifts, and essential warehouse solutions.
Booth Setup: Clean, Functional, and Customer-Centric
Our booth featured a straightforward layout with bright ice-blue branding—Royal Forklift’s signature color. Two main zones divided the space:
Product Display Area: The Pro Plus series took center stage, with its sleek design and globally sourced components (e.g., KUBOTA engines and ZAPI controllers) attracting distributors. Nearby, the cost-effective Standard series drew SMEs with its "no-frills, high-value" tagline.
Demo Corner: A mini obstacle course allowed visitors to test drive electric and off-road forklifts on simulated slopes and gravel paths.
Key Products: Balancing Premium and Practicality
Pro Plus Series
Pro Plus Electric Forklift: Highlighted by a 3-ton model with 20% longer battery life than competitors, praised by a German logistics manager: “This feels like a Mercedes in forklifts!”
Pro Plus Off-Road Forklift: Equipped with all-terrain tires and reinforced chassis, demonstrated moving timber in a mock construction site.
Standard Series
Standard Diesel Forklift: A budget-friendly 5-ton model with a Chinese XINCHAI engine, popular among EU buyers.
Compact Warehouse Racker: A nimble electric pallet mover priced under €12,000, ideal for small warehouses.
Customer Engagement: Trust Built on Relationships
Royal Forklift invited 15 long-term European clients to trial the Pro Plus prototypes before the show. A Dutch distributor since 2018, shared: “We tested the electric model for a month—fewer breakdowns than their older models. That’s why I signed a 50-unit order here.”
The booth’s “Live Feedback Wall” displayed handwritten notes from visitors:
“Finally, a Chinese brand that doesn’t over promise!” – Italian buyer
“Standard series fits our budget without cutting safety features.” – Polish warehouse owner
By day two, the sales team reported 56 serious inquiries, including a 100-unit from a Romanian agricultural cooperative.
Industry Insights: Learning and Sharing
While not hosting flashy forums, Royal Forklift’s engineers attended key sessions:
At the “Future of Intra-Logistics” panel, we learned about rising demand for hybrid (electric/diesel) forklifts in cold storage—a gap the company plans to address.
A casual chat with a Spanish automation supplier revealed growing interest in semi-automated pallet stackers, prompting R&D to prioritize this for 2025.
Results: Steady Growth, Not Hype
By closing day, Royal Forklift achieved:
€1.3 million in on-site orders (70% Standard series, 30% Pro Plus).
Partnerships with 3 new distributors in Hungary, Portugal, and Tunisia.
Critical component supplier contacts, including a Belgian battery manufacturer offering better bulk pricing.
Sales director Tom summarized: “We’re here to show that Chinese brands can deliver quality without the premium price tag. The Pro Plus proves our engineering can compete globally, while the Standard series keeps us grounded in real market needs.”
Looking Forward
As Royal Forklift packs up its booth, the team heads home with a clear to-do list: refine the Pro Plus based on client feedback, expand the Standard series’ customization options, and—most importantly—turn those 56 leads into lasting partnerships. In the words of their booth banner: “Reliable Lifting, Every Day.”
